Tom COSM, coming to Ireland

Kiwi electronic music performer, Tom COSM, is undertaking a world tour and has penciled in some dates for stop over in Ireland. Where in Ireland exactly is still a mystery and indeed may be canceled in favor of a trip to the UK, but until then, its a week planned in Ireland beginning July 3rd.

I first mentioned Tom's music two years ago in a post I wrote after a night on the lash. I was blown away by a video I saw of a performance of his on Google Video. I remember being pissed off at the crap state of music in Cork night clubs. I had wished for a just a bit of live trance, the likes of Tom COSM, to get performed on a night out here. Well it very nearly may be coming true. I'd love to see Tom live in The Savoy, and kick that fucking StevieG off the stage :) Indeed, he's desperately asking for help finding gigs in between the ones he's scheduled himself. I'd love to help out but all I could offer him is a gig in my kitchen, with a packet of instant-mash as payment.

Tom has decided to give up the security of a stable job as a music technician and become a full time musician. I meant to send him an email wishing him all the best regarding this decision and his upcoming tour around the globe, but I hope this post will make up for it.

Not only does he offer his music freely for download but he also offers the Ableton Live set files from these performances. I love this guys music, I think its fucking great and I seriously advise anyone at all interested in electronic/dance or any kind of music to check him out :)
