The AX7 is only out of the way on over the pc's monitor, I'm not sure if I'll keep it there as I'm not sure how often I'll be using it now.

Well... I've got CRT monitors that I'm not using.
lol, yeah I have a few of those lying aound too. It's a pity they aren't LCD. Even if you had no use for monitors theyre still a lot more useful than CRT's.
